Connection from the Start

For new parents and caregivers with infants

Overview

The early days of parenting are sacred—and a little overwhelming. This course is here to ground you in what matters most: secure emotional connection.

Rooted in attachment theory, Connection from the Start gives you the tools to nurture your baby’s brain, build trust, and care for your own emotional health in the process.

You’ll be co-led by Jessie Evans, Owner of Steadfast Christian Counseling, and

Amy Lawson, Owner of Charleston Functional Medicine, who will guide you through both the emotional and physical building blocks of connection.

According to attachment theory, your baby’s early experiences lay the foundation for how they connect, trust, and relate to others for life. A secure bond begins with attuned, responsive caregiving—and support for you as the caregiver is part of the work.
